Introduction to Anatomy and Physiology
Fundamentals of Anatomy and Physiology, 4th Edition by Dr. Donald C. Rizzo

Packed with vivid illustrations and a wealth of hands-on applications, best-selling Fundamentals of Anatomy And Physiology is organized according to body systems, and focuses on the body working together to promote homeostasis.

Introduction to Medical Terminology
Medical Terminology for Health Professions, 8th Edition by Ann Ehrlich, Carol L. Schroeder, Laura Ehrlich, and Katrina A. Schroeder

Medical Terminology for Health Professions simplifies the process of memorizing complex medical terminology by focusing on the important word parts–common prefixes, suffixes and root words–to provide a foundation for learning hundreds of medical terms. Organized by body system, chapters begin with an overview of the terminology related to the body’s structures and functions, proceed through diseases and disorders, and end with diagnostic procedures and treatments.

Introduction to Pharmacology
Essentials of Pharmacology for Health Professions, 7th Edition by Ruth Woodrow, Bruce Colbert, and David M. Smith

Essentials of Pharmacology for Health Professions is focused on “need to know” drug information including basic pharmacologic principles (medication preparation, supplies, and specific information on each route of administration) and drugs by classifications, and includes purpose, side effects, cautions, interactions, and contraindications. Reference tables with each classification list the most commonly prescribed drugs according to generic and trade names, with dosage and available forms.

Introduction to Pathophysiology
Human Disease, 4th edition by Marianne Neighbors and Ruth Tannehill-Jones

Human Diseases delivers basic anatomy and physiology in a reader-friendly manner, then explores the diseases and disorders health care professionals see and treat most. Intuitively organized, chapters present each disease’s description, etiology, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.
