ICD-10-PCS: A Quick Course on Table Mechanics introduces the student to the basics of the Procedural Coding System (PCS) system and code structure. Students will learn to use both the ICD-10-PCS electronic file and paper code set book. This quick course doesn’t teach you how to code – it teaches you to use the tools of the system.
This online course provides audio and visual tours of the CMS electronic files; participants explore the features, format and organization of ICD-10-PCS. Course features include screen shots, interactive activities, and the use of video with audio to demonstrate how to use the electronic files for ICD-10-PCS.
The level of effort to complete this course, start to finish, is equivalent to 1 CEU and should take you approximately 1-3 hours to complete. Remember: You have access to the course materials for the full 4-week enrollment period and we encourage you to re-review any materials that are helpful to you.
Certificate of Completion
Upon successful completion of the course work, student will be able to download a Libman Education Certificate of Completion. The Certificate of Completion will list the course as awarding 1 CEUs.
