ICD-10-PCS: Guidelines: A Case Study Approach
Correct understanding and application of ICD-10-PCS guidelines are essential to anyone concerned with accurate, complete, and defensible coding of inpatient procedures. Using a case study approach, the learner will code over 25 commonly performed inpatient procedures which illustrate the application of multiple guidelines, applied together.
ICD-10-PCS: Medical and Surgical Coding
Introduction to the structure and design of the ICD-10-PCS system and coding guidelines. Course provides education on assigning codes within the medical and surgical section of ICD-10-PCS, with complete education on the 31 root operations used in the coding process.
Practical Coding Experience: Inpatient 1
Provides hands-on coding practice coupled with detailed guidance on correct code assignment. - Unlimited course access during enrollment period. For courses offering greater than one CEU, enrollment period is 16 weeks. For courses offering one or fewer CEUs, enrollment period is 4 weeks. Depending on the topic, some courses may offer an extended enrollment period. Courses purchased as a bundle or package may have a longer enrollment period.
