Preparing for the CCS Exam: A Structured Process

As I tell my students: preparation and practice are key to their ultimate success.

As a coder, you have already achieved a great deal. Every coder has experienced that moment: staring at a lengthy inpatient case and wondering, “Where do I even begin?” The answer is to begin with a structured process—and trust the training that guides you through it. Confidence does not appear overnight. It is built one guideline, one case, one coding decision, and one learning opportunity at a time. A similar structured process will help you achieve your CCS.
