Mary’s enthusiasm for healthcare data and ICD-11 is evident: “Healthcare data is not a top of mind priority for many people but within HIM we know how essential it is. The ability to capture information about patients and outcomes and use that data to effect change in medical practice is what gets me going every day. I am grateful to be an HIM professional at this exciting time when the promise of health care data is finally being realized.”
