Baltimore is the place to be “in the know” this March! The Coordination and Maintenance (C&M) Committee for ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS takes place on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 9 and 10, as a virtual meeting from the CMS offices in Baltimore, Maryland. And, you can attend virtually for free!

The C&M meeting is a public meeting of Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS). The Committee provides a public forum to discuss proposed changes and additions to both ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS code sets. During the meeting, presentations describe clinical issues, procedures or technology. The virtual attendees at the meeting are encouraged to ask questions and to offer recommendations. You can just observe or make your opinions known, whichever makes you feel the most comfortable.

The meeting is open to the public. Registration for the virtual meeting is now open here. For more information and to download the meeting materials (about 2 to 5 days before the meeting), click here.
