The beta period for AHIMA CCS and CCA certification exams ended on 5/31/2018 but both exams are currently in the data validation process. According to AHIMA, the data validation process can take 12-24 weeks; therefore results may not be available until August. Once the data validation process ends, immediate scoring will be available at the time of testing.
The AHIMA website was updated today to clarify conflicting information for credential candidates: “The beta testing period for the CCA and CCS exams has closed for data collection. Individuals that tested during the beta period from 5/1-5/31/18, as well as those testing after the beta close date are awaiting exam results. The data validation process ensures the appropriate passing scores are applied for all individuals taking the exam throughout the data validation period that can take 12-24 weeks from the time of testing.”
