Angela Gerbert Promoted to Director of Training and Operations for Libman Education
“She is a tireless advocate for the student”
BEDFORD, MASSACHUSETTS – December 26, 2017 – Libman Education instructor and education specialist Angela Gerbert, BS, CCS, CDIP, CIC, COC, CPC-I, has been promoted to Director of Training and Operations for Libman Education.
“Angela’s new title reflects the role she has played at Libman Education almost from the beginning: she is a tireless advocate for the student. She works to ensure each is getting the right course or curriculum that will make a difference in their ability to get a job or advance in their career. Working with employers, Angela designs training programs that ensure their coders are prepared to provide the critical coding services needed by the institution to ensure accurate, complete and defensible coding,” according to Susan Pepple, Chief Operating Officer of Libman Education.
“Libman Education has been a great opportunity to put in place my skills as a coder and an educator to ensure our courses meet the workforce training needs of individuals and employers. Staying current, staying challenged, and staying ‘on top of your game’ are all critical challenges for coders. My work at Libman Education ensures coders have the right courses and the right training to achieve their goals,” said Angela.
Angela is not new to online learning and is the instructor for many of Libman Education’s courses:
“My bachelor’s degree in Health Care Management was earned from Southern New Hampshire University,” she said. “I know firsthand the challenges faced by adult learners working through online courses. It is not easy! I think we do a good job of making Libman Education courses engaging, content-rich, and relevant to the work of coders today. Our courses are online but I am also the instructor and on-call when someone needs just a bit of help to figure something out and be able to move on. I love working with the students.”
