Libman Education resells 4Medapproved’s Meaningful Use training course
BEDFORD MASSACHUSETTS – September 12, 2013 – 4Medapproved, a leading provider of online health IT education and certifications, has partnered with Libman Education to distribute Libman Education’s online, self-paced course ICD-10-CM for Coding Professionals. Libman Education is also reselling 4Medapproved’s online self-paced course, Certified Meaningful Use Professional (CMUP).
ICD-10-CM for Coding Professionals highlights the key changes in ICD-10-CM diagnostic coding and teaches existing coders to translate their knowledge of ICD-9-CM to the new version of the classification system. The course also provides exercises and case studies applicable to any clinical setting, and includes new conventions and guidelines with the focus on the expanded code set.
Both courses have an online format that allows students to work around their busy schedules and take the courses at their leisure.
“4Medapproved is committed to providing professionals at all stages of the health IT implementation process with top-quality online education along with certifications and continuing education credit,” said Chris Councilor, 4Medapproved’s Senior Director of Business Development. “Meaningful Use and ICD-10 are complex topics and our collaboration provides an important educational solution for healthcare professionals. These courses are authored by experts—with years of experience in healthcare and education.”
4Medapproved’s Meaningful Use training course—which Libman Education is now reselling—provides comprehensive online training on how Eligible Professionals (EPs) and Eligible Hospitals (EHs) under the CMS EHR Incentive Program can meet Stage 1 and Stage 2 Meaningful Use requirements.
The course provides students with an understanding of the details of each meaningful use requirement—including those related to Clinical Quality Measures (CQMs), HIPAA, Health Information Exchange and interoperability. The program reviews differences between the Medicare and Medicaid programs, and provides strategies for EHR adoption.
Those who successfully complete the course are awarded with a Certification in Meaningful Use reviewed and authorized by the 4Medapproved professional medical and technical advisory boards.
4Medapproved was founded in 2010 to address the medical community’s growing need for aggregated unbiased and trustworthy information about electronic medical records. The company provides access to invaluable content, community, curriculum and consulting resources in one centralized location.
